Making my lemon and cucumber infused water

Fruit/veggies infused water has been raking popularity among health enthusiasts lately, not only that it’s easy to make, the water is also packed with nutritional value that is very vital to promote healthy physique.

So, considering that it’s one of the cheapest and easiest healthy options we have today, I also made one myself. These are just basically native lemons that I picked from our neighbor’s tree, ours still too small and it’ll take one more year yet for it to bear fruits. The oranges were bought from a membership store and the cucumbers were from the market.

So basically, you just have to cut the fruits and veggies crosswise and let the fresh cuttings steep in the filtered water in a wide brimmed jar and put it the fridge for hours. In all honesty, the water’s bland, so the time I took it out for a drink, I squeeze in the orange and lemons and eat the cucumbers.

Making infused water has the versatility as wide as the range of the of edible fruits and veggies we have in the market, your imagination is the only limit. A drop of two or more mint leaves here can make a menthol difference.

Have you made one lately?
